So much in Christian circles today about the 4 blood moons; have you noticed? I never read 4 blood moons in the Bible. Have you? Instead I read that the moon will be turned to blood and the sun will be darkened before the great and notable day of the Lord.
Consider instead that the moon has no life of its own. It is totally dead. And yet in the midnight hour it bears witness to the fact that the sun is still shining.
I see a day coming, maybe even now, where there is total darkness. But God is raising up believers who are dead to themselves and they radiate and witness to the glory of the Son.
I want to be like the moon. No life in me, crucified with Christ nevertheless I live yet not I but Christ lives in me.
When I think of the moon turned to blood I remember the words in Revelation, “and they loved not their lives unto death.” Or in Hebrews 12 “Ye have not yet resisted unto blood striving against sin.”
Don’t wait for the great tribulation to die to self. Ask Jesus to possess you fully now. Begin to count it all joy when you enter into trials and tribulations. Because every Son the Lord loveth, him he chasteneth.
