The Power of the Spoken WORD 11/10/17

Jesus is the Word of God made flesh (Jn.1:14). Begin to CALL those things that be not as though they were (Rm.4:17). Jesus said the mouth TALKS about the things that fill the heart (Mt.15:18). Fill your mind and heart with His Word. And when you remind Him OUTLOUD of His Word you come into agreement with Him. He cannot resist you because He honors his Word (Job 22:21-22).

He also said “You shall SAY to this mountain be thou removed and be cast into the sea” (Mk.11:23). “You have not because you ASK not” (Ja.4:2). You can speak to him right out loud. He is your closest blood relative (Heb.13:20). Tell him exactly what you think and feel. Above all, worship him. “He inhabits the praises of His people” (Ps.22:3).

No coincidence that “praise” sounds the same as “prays.” Directing mental thoughts to God of course are heard. He knows the thoughts and intents of your heart (Ac.15:8). But get into the habit of talking to him. He will teach you to declare a thing to be so. He will teach you to cast out demons (Mk.16:17). He will teach you “to CALL those things that be not as though they were” (Rm.4:17). He will teach you to direct Satan and take dominion over him with the SPOKEN WORD (Mt.4:10). He will teach you to grow in faith because “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God” (Rm.10:17).

Reading the Word is one thing but hearing the spoken Word will change you from “glory to glory” (2Cor.3:17-18). Move into the realm of speaking, of declaring. I’m reminding Him of what His Word says. The Bible says “The promises of God are Yea and Amen” (2Cor.1:20). That is, not just idea and thought only. He longs to hear your voice and He longs to hear you SING a Word of praise and worship (Ps.100:4). He will come and tabernacle with you and in you (Col.1:27).

Even as “God is a Spirit” (Jn.4:24), yet in the beginning “God SAID” (Gen.1:3)… Incidently, spirits don’t have to speak outloud, but God did! Do you know why it’s so hard for Christians to lead in prayer. Because they are intimidated by the enemy (2Tim.1:7). But there is incredible power in the spoken Word and the enemy really, really doesn’t want you to speak the Word in prayer (1Th.5:16-18). It is the Word that brings light and dispels darkness, because JESUS is the WORD (Jn.1:1-5).
