The Almighty God, who unceasingly sacrifices Himself by incomprehensible means, draws the very soul of man into His infinite Being! The Almighty, His every pure motive and very soul’s aspiration is to captivate us with the reality of His self-sacrificing, forgiving, compassionate love, that we thenceforth be immersed in His incalculable, ocean of holy, relentless Love. This unrelenting, passionate love is the offering of Himself to us ward, as Servant-Lover, Savior, Priest and King. It is He who has come to abide within our very being and has come to do for us what we cannot do! Oh Divine Love, Who gave and continues to give all, that the crowning jewel of Your creation be restored!
This great enduring, loving sacrifice cannot compare to any earthly love, for it never ceases, never changes, is faithful to our hope ~ by promise of His own inerrant, unfailing Word. Yes, it is this love that captivates the hardest, the lowest and highest, the most abase, the noble and the ignorant; transporting us into love’s grace!
Bowing in His Holy revealed presence, forgiven and made righteousness by His Love, we weep for want of His likeness. This manifest presence is the grandest and highest of love’s expression; that He, the Almighty, has drawn us to Himself, though yet in our darkened, or wandering or juvenile state. Yea! He, fierce God of power and devastation, has bent down, and continues to bend downward in Love’s mercy, drawing near unto us; The Almighty God has loved us infinitely in eternity past, loves us deeply in this moment, and will love us faithfully in the eons to come!
Jesus. Loves true portrait! Seeing Him, we are thus rendered changed; His likeness now born within! Blinded eyes are opened as we comprehend that God’s genuine expression is sacrifice compelled by love, and thus offer ourselves to Him who deserves exceedingly more! We give our hearts, our very being, withholding nothing; an offering of ardent, grateful love, returned and lavished upon Father God!
Transfixed on who He truly is, we thus become the extension and expression of his heart- displayed to the world as a drink offering; Transformed by and into pure love, we are thence poured out upon our fellow man who have not yet known, nor touched the limitless, fierce love of the eternal One, who ever lives to give His life!
